LYLAS

If you grew up or raised kids during the late 90s and early 2000s, you most definitely know who the Olsen Twins are. Best known for their split role in Full House, the twins now mainly work in the fashion industry.

Cue me dramatically realizing I am following in the Olsen Twins path. Just kidding. Kind of…..

So over this summer, I found this great card with the twins on it with the phrase, “Love you like a sister.” It was the perfect card for my cousin, so I bought it, in hopes of bringing this line into the shop. I’m a procrastinator since birth, so weeks go by, and I get an email from that same card company, explaining they found us online, and suggesting that KK carries this cards. I sent the most unprofessional email back full of OMGs, and the story that I bought the Olsen Twins card as a gift. The representative from the company, Jay, responds with the company’s catalog, and signs the email, “LYLAS!”

I was speechless, super impressed he knew their inventory as well as he did, and I immediately knew it was the perfect fit for Knock Knock.

It then had me thinking, when I was growing up, the twins were definitely sorted into different categories; one was sporty, more tom-boyish, and outgoing, while the other was more feminine, demure, and sweet. So, inspired by the iconic duo, here are some opposites in the shop. See a short snippet of what we have for any style preference!

This one is purely based on the names, but the scents certainly match! Mixologie is a company that makes perfumes that are cruelty, alcohol and paraben free- how cool is that? Another neat thing about them is that you can mix and match the difference scents to make your own signature fragrance! Available in two sizes, it’s the kind of chemistry set I’m interested in. $9-20

Gold vs. Silver ; is there an older debate?

Another perfume set, which is similar, yet different. While florals are a clear inspiration for both scents, both are unique in their own way.

Still bling - just a different take!
